About Us

Dimitri Ederly

The START

My classical music career started by auditioning for the ESU Music Department, starting on clarinet and eventually switching to classical guitar.  Dimitri Erdely (shown), from Russia, was Edinboro's classical guitar instructor at this time. He had my attention from day one.  My only other teacher was Mikhail Pikaluv, also Russian.  GREAT TEACHERS!

Touring Time (mid 1970's)

This is Disco/Show  band McMillin and Life.  It was a real learning experience  writing charts for Bb and Eb  horns.  Our management team included George David Weiss.  Many thanks to my father George Kuhn

and especially Don Elbaum who put in touch with the right people.

Erie Peninsula Classical

Now, I am concentrating on Classical Guitar.  This is a 1941 Martin guitar, with nylon strings, that I first heard expertly played by Carl Pastore at our meetings.

Thanks go out to his kind daughter, Tina !
